It's a kind of magic [RL with Hayate and Tsubomi]

A little tap with the Keyblade, and Aqua opened the door to Hayate's home.

"Heard you weren't feeling well," she said. "I brought something that might cheer you up."

"I'm glad you're having fun," Aqua said.

"This is so great!" Floating around, she floated over to Tsubomi and Aqua one by one, giving them huge hugs. "Can you two also fly with me?"

At that point, Chypre finally made her appearance, popping up from behind Tsubomi as she went for her Heart Perfume.

"I can't fly, but I can jump high enough to join you..."

"It's about the same for me," Aqua admitted. "I can only fly on my glider, and it's a little unwieldy indoors."

[lil_tanuki]

"That would be neat, though maybe I shouldn't go outside. I'm feeling still kind of ill..." remarked Hayate. "Still... when we're better, we should all go for a 'walk' so to speak."

[bag_has_snapped]

"Yes... yes, we should. But, for now, you should rest up. Especially with all the excitement you've been through just now." Tsubomi said, chuckling a bit.

"Tsubomi's right," Aqua agreed. "When you're feeling better, we can try everything out."

[lil_tanuki]

Hayate pouted a little but nodded. "All right. That sounds good."

"Do you two want to help me with dinner?"

[bag_has_snapped]

"Ah, sure... though... I'm not that good of a cook." Tsubomi admitted. "I can try, though!"

"I can cook a bit," Aqua added. "It's just not going to be anything fancy."

[lil_tanuki]

"Between the three of us we can get dinner started then." Sliding over, she picked up her legs and slung them over the bed. "Can one of you get my wheelchair?"

"I got it!" Tsubomi said, rushing over and bringing the wheelchair back to Hayate. You can tell she's taking the title of "oneechan" seriously.

"All right," Aqua said with a nod, gently helping Hayate over to her chair. The last thing she wanted was for her to get dizzy and lose her balance getting in.

Once situated, Hayate pointed out the door. "Okay, I think a little bit of a stew should be good enough. We have enough rice from yesterday in the rice cooker."

"Lets get started." And she began to roll towards the door, expertly moving through the house, only pausing to catch her breath. "A little winded but okay. Good."

"...you sure you want to do this?" Tsubomi asked while making her way to the kitchen. "Maybe I'm just worrying, but..."

"We'll help with whatever you need," Aqua insisted, giving Tsubomi a confident nod.

[lil_tanuki]

"Okay. So, first we need the meat, and the potatoes and the carrots washed. Celery too. Can one of you get the veggies out of the crisper and the other put the meat into the microwave to defrost it? 30 minutes, power 1." said Hayate, reaching down and picking up a pot from the lower cupboard.

"Um... sure... h-hold on!" Tsubomi said, nodding and going to get the veggies for Hayate.

Unfortunately, Aqua was looking at the microwave and all of its buttons, a little lost.

"How do I do power levels? We don't have one of these back home."

[lil_tanuki]

"Ah you type in the time here," said Hayate, pointing at the time button. "And then after putting that in, press 'Power' here and 1 and press start. Simple!"

"...you don't have things like that where you're from?" Tsubomi asked, honestly confused by Aqua's confusion.

[shiningwaters]

"Thanks," Aqua answered, following Hayate's directions.

"Well, we rely more on magic at home. There's not a whole lot of technology, though we do learn what we can to get by on other worlds."

[lil_tanuki]

"That's pretty interesting," said Hayate, setting the pot on the burner and then moving to fish a chopping board out of the things. It was clear that everything was set up for a little girl at chair-level, since there was nothing up top in the higher cupboards. "It certainly leaves room for learning new things."

[bag_has_snapped]

"Wow... it certainly does." Tsubomi said, nodding. That would be interesting, using magic for other things...

...she quickly shoved that aside. She'd try something like that, Chypre would take away her Tact.

"Of course, Master Eraqus insists on us learning how to do things by hand," Aqua insisted. "And Terra hardly uses magic anyway. I was just the one who really took to it."
